This premium wool batting is made from 100% super-washed wool and thermally bonded for durability and performance. Designed to resist bearding (fiber migration), it offers a soft, lofty feel with excellent breathability and temperature regulation—ideal for high-quality quilting projects.

Care Instructions:

• Machine washable (treated to resist felting)
• Do not pre-wash batting
• Insert into quilt first, then wash the finished quilt
• Wash on delicate/wool cycle with cool water
• Shrinkage: Less than 3%
• Tumble dry low or lay flat to dry
• Do not bleach
• Do not iron
• Dry flat recommended

Quilting Guidelines:

• Stitch distance: Up to 4–6 inches apart
• Recommended needle: Size 90/14 (Topstitch)
• Thread:
  • 40wt for visible stitches
  • 50wt for blending
• Reduce top thread tension slightly to prevent puckering
• Use tightly woven cotton fabrics to minimize bearding
